    Summary of Qualifications:

    TutorABC, Taiwan 3/2010 – 6/2010

ONLINE ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEACHER (Native English Speaker)
TutorABC is an online company that specializes in ESL students with professional backgrounds who wish to improve their English skills.

    • As of June 1st I had successfully completed between 475-500 class sessions for TutorABC
    • All classes were 45 minutes long and class sizes ranged from 1-6 students with an average class size of 4.
    • Classes were centered around maintaining or improving English grammar, vocabulary, listening, conversational, and pronunciation skills. (All class material was provided by the company.)

POMIC Manila, Makati City, Philippines 7/2008 – 1/2010

ONLINE ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEACHER (Native English Speaker)
    • During my time with POMIC I have handled over 100 (male & female) students (collectively…not all at once.) I figure I completed around 7500 classes during my time with POMIC.
    • Classes were either 10 or 20 minutes 3 days a week or 10 minutes every day in a mixed schedule.
    • Most classes were centered around maintaining or improving English grammar, vocabulary, listening, conversational, and pronunciation skills. We achieved our goals through free or open topic conversation or through topic based conversation preceded by reading of a short article.
    • Created new curriculum centered on Idioms/Expressions as well as public speaking/speech giving/presentations.
    • In addition to my teaching duties for a brief time I was named Team Leader until the position was entirely removed from the hierarchal structure in the company.
    • I also spent a couple months training my fellow POMIC teachers to improve their own English skills in addition to current events and other topics they needed expanded knowledge of to do their jobs.
    • I showed my versatility by helping out with many emergency IT related matters when no IT staff were on duty.
    • As a reward for my loyalty, versatility and value to the company POMIC made me one of the 3 full time “regular” native speaker employees.

    Edulynx Corporation, Ortigas, Philippines 2/2008 – 4/2008

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TRAINER / WEB DESIGNER
    • Taught the EPAT (English Proficiency Accent Training) course and assisted primary trainers of the Call Center Training courses.
    • I was a student in the company’s TESOL course with the goal of becoming certified to teach that course as well.
    • Once again showing my versatility and value I was selected to help maintain company websites and I was put in charge of a team of 3 others tasked with developing a new Online English course which was the company President’s pet project.
    • I was selected to join the initial team being deployed to China to start a new English school there.

THE ABOVE IS MY MOST RECENT TEACHING EXPERIENCE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE A MORE IN DEPTH AND COMPLETE LOOK AT MY EXPERIENCE I WOULD BE HAPPY TO FORWARD A COPY OF MY RESUME.
